I ALWAYS wanted one of these.

Two Nagaris lived in Yeppoon in the mid 80's (go figure the odds of that........ A LOT of rev heads up there.). Both Cleveland 351s.

Fswuck they rumbled. :tumbleweed: They weren't standard donks at all. No siree bob.

And they just looked Aussie, nasty, rougish, stylish. And made the 'don't fsuck with me noises' real well

When they went out for the night on the town they put on Old Spice and 5 years ago fashion but still looked more cooler than cool as.

And would try to fit into the groovy Euro crowd to have a go at getting the better girls.

But were Aussie pub friggin mean with 'tude, who hadn't showered today, whilst trying to be dressed up as Ferraris to mix in. But the pants and sleeves were Aussie uncool too short, and an agricultural V8 that'll tear your head off, whilst making a lot of noise. And looking and sounding naughty slutty appealing.

Despite the tizzyed sort of rough uncouthness, it'll still punch the fsucking lights out of the smart arse Pinninnyfarriny designed Ferrari owner for been rude in the pub to you. With a Clevo nasty burble. Love em.

Apart from an MX5, up in my top 5 to one day own (maybe even drive :e_wink: ) is one of these.....

Saw the original at a Brissy motorshow way back when new and fell madly in love. The engineering mods weren't just wheel flares and they stood out like dogsballs as serious motorsport mods...... And after 20 odd years they still look more sexy than...pick your girl. Timeless looking.

Gorgeous cars that actually do the bizz.

Could become frustrating in traffic though with that need for el mucho revs to do move or do anything.

(keep the Polo GTI Peter. max 220nm torque at 1900rpm - 50% more with a $1000 tune....cling onto that thought for daily motoring happiness. Have fun with that. Forget these silly fantasies of high revving cop attraction cars. You'll be in jail. :nono: )

I prefer my Forester to the RX7, it's absurdly practical with loads of space and great ground clearance and with 0-100 of 6 seconds it's faster.

People don't buy Ferraris or that ilk of segment of the market for their practicality.

Stupid looking practical Forrester that stodges around like everyone elses (admittedly fast) v gorgeous sex on wheels rare revvy 20B turbo? :tumbleweed:

Fsuck ground clearance. Alter your driveway to suit the heathen low slung thing.

Which bit of "faster" don't you get? Oh that's right, it's all about looks for you, isn't it Peter  Give me AWD, good grunt and anonymity any day of "look at me, look at me" jokes like the RX7.

When I imported the damaged STi back in 1998, we also brought in a couple of those RX7 models too. I think my DeTomaso Charade was probably faster

Marc, you're getting reasonable in your old age. First becoming environmental and now loving AWD. Next thing you'll join the Greens.

Yeah but that's in '98 :banghead:. You lay eyes on a Series 1 when they were brand new ('82/83??) when you are 17 for the first time band it was love at first sight (4wd turbo surburban jobies didn't exist then). I saw my first ever in Caloundra on school holidays. Remember there just wasn't any cars like that then.

They were like a down sized affordable Ferrari.

They have aged incredibly well. Still a sweeeeet looking little sporty two door.

I seem to recall a pair of 20Bs doing rather well at Bathurst in a really looooooong race.
