DAIHARD BBS RULES – Brief Version

FULL RULES

1. Your location section of your profile MUST be filled out.
The format MUST contain both country AND a location within that country.
This is not an anonymous forum and as such, we expect people to advise where they are from.

2. Your correct email address MUST be supplied
A correct, active & acceptable email address MUST be supplied in your profile. Your email address can be hidden from the general population of the board. Hotmail, Yahoo and all other advertising based free webmail services are now no longer accepted as a valid email address

3. Potentially offensive material restricted to the slag zone
If you want to really abuse somebody or something, put it in the Slag Zone, other areas have to be kept relativle clean. But in saying this, virtually anything is allowed in the Slag Zone, so if you dont like bad words, or being abused, DO NOT go into the Slag Zone, you have been warned.

4. Avatars - 120x120pixels 10KB MAXIMUM
We expect the forum to be fast for modem use and super fast for broadband and not lose the clean formatting becasue some prat wants a "cool avatar".

5. Inline images within threads - 400x300 50KB MAXIMUM
For exactly the same reasons as the avatars need to be kept small, so do inline images within threads. If you really need to show off high res pictures, simply put a link to the picture so people have a choice if they wish to spend the time looking.

6. Inline images in signatures ARE BANNED
You are welcome to have a small signature, including links to images if you wish.

7. This BBS is owned by Marc Austin-Zande and very kindly hosted by eis.net.
He is The Dark Lord of the Undead and what he says goes. This IS NOT a public place, it is a PRIVATE place where the public is generally welcome under certain expectations. Of cource this rule overrides all others, for obvious reasons.


Failure to comply with these rules will probably result in your account being deleted, although we reserve the right to delete any account for any reason the management of this board wishes.
